influences #21 (literary architecture)

Here are examples of projects done heavily influenced by written works. It’s a good experiment of portraying a story based on many facets of understanding taken from the human condition on the active assemblage of architecture.

Louis Kahn’s National Assembly Building of Bangladesh.

This building stands as a symbol of democracy and, most importantly in my view, as a definer of place. Local contextual materials compose its entirety and create a story that is as literary as the novels of yesterday.
